Silver and Sparkle with Hiho Silver
Over the last 6 months my love for the amazing country jewellery brand Hiho Silver has grown and grown. I first became aware of Hiho over 15 years ago when I worked in a little gift shop in Dorchester which was a couple of doors down from a Hiho shop. I still have some pieces from way back then which I treasure.
I was reintroduced to Hiho through several country lifestyle bloggers I follow on instagram and soon became entranced by the beautiful pictures of stunning Hiho silver jewellery featured on their instagram and blog posts. My love for Hiho jewellery and the brand itself was solidified when I was lucky enough to go to the second Hiho “instameet” at Blackdown Shepherd Huts in Ilminster in February. This was such a wonderful day, I still rave about it now 3 months later. It’s was an amazing get together of country and equestrian bloggers supported by amazing brands such as Mackenzie and George, Fairfax and Favor and of course Hiho silver. We were lucky enough to be given a beautiful silver letter charm on a necklace in our goody bag and from there I was hooked!
Soon after the Hiho event I decided to pop up to the Hiho store in Sherborne where I met the lovely Karen who is absolutely delightful and so helpful. Lots of bloggers had the gorgeous Hiho cherry roller bracelets on at the instameet so I already had my eye on one of those. They are available in silver, silver and rose gold or silver and gold, and most importantly 3 different sizes to fit different wrist shapes and Karen got me the perfect fit - I have quite thin wrists and sometimes finding bracelets which fit can be a bit tricky but the smaller size was ideal and I basically haven’t taken it off since!
I also fell in love with the gorgeous bee necklace in the top photo. I love bees and so this was a beautiful next addition to my Hiho collection. It’s so summery and cheerful and really is my favourite necklace at the moment. Another favourite was the gold and silver bee ring and when my sister commented that she loved the ring when I posted a photo of it on instagram I had her birthday present sorted!
I’m so lucky to live close to the Hiho shop in Sherborne but there is a brilliant website for those that live a bit further away www.hihosilver.co.uk
I’m definitely a Hiho Silver fan and would recommend their jewellery for anyone who loves beautiful silver accessories with a country or equestrian twist. Next on my wish list is one of these gorgeous cherry roller rings to match my bracelet. What do you think, shall I get one?!
